These guys were the ultimate. Dan, Greg and Charlie helped make our wedding even more special. We frequent Mammoth winter and summer and decided what better place to get married. We have a friend in the music business who agreed to play at our wedding, but when we heard String Theory play, we thought we'd make a party out of it and our friend Susan thought it would be great for all of them to play together.
It could not have turned out better. It was the perfect end to a perfect day listening to Charlie, Dan, Greg, drummer Marty and Susan at our reception. Everyone was dancing, young and old, and the music was a combination of everything we could have hoped for.
Thanks String Theory!

"We were married at Convict Lake in August of 2011 and hired String Theory to play our wedding. Our request was that they play the ceremony, a happy hour event AND the reception. They were able to accommodate this with a variety of musical combinations that created a unique sound for each event. Further, they were able to play great versions of the songs we requested. Their show was extremely well-received by all our guests, young and old. The music was great to dance to and we had numerous requests about where we found them. They were able to electrify the event and help to make it a perfect day.
In addition, their professionalism and ease of interaction were top-notch. This was not lost on us trying to prepare for a destination wedding. We needed to do very little - Charlie was able to coordinate and know what we needed from him without reminders or having to ask.
We look forward to traveling back to Mammoth and the Eastern Sierra, and really look forward to enjoying one of String Theory's shows next time we are out there."

"I couldn’t be happier with the whole wedding, and your music was a great part of it. The music transformed it from a simple event to something magical. With only the slightest direction from me you understood exactly what I wanted. The time prior to the wedding, the music you played took all the stress away and made me, as the Mother of the Bride, confident that everything would go smoothly. The Canon in D to the perfect timing on the wedding march to the recessional was exactly on que and beautiful. I enjoyed the variety of the guitar, violin, and especially the mandolin, as well as the variety of styles that you play. At the reception, you read the guests and came through with a spectacular serenade to the grandmother of the bride, of Patsy Cline’s Crazy, with even some crowd participation. The first dance brought tears to all. You brought variety fun and elegance to our event. Thank you!
Vanessa - Mother of the Bride
PS I wish we had a recording of the whole thing. And we will look for you at future events up here. Thank you again."
